Responding to a Need

The poor of Kové often lack access to basic medical care to treat such common illnesses as malaria and parasites. The clinic would provide this basic care, as well as ensuring safe and dignified deliveries for pregnant women and preventative care, including vaccinations, for children.

The Plan

THE PROGRESS

Construction on the clinic began on 1 April 2004, under the supervision of the Canossian Sisters, VOICA Volunteers, and Canossian Lay Missionary in Kové. They expect to complete the clinic by the end of 2005.
