Long-Term Volunteers

We have an immediate need for long-term teachers and medical volunteers!

Long-term volunteers spend one to two years serving in small groups (2-6 volunteers) at a Canossian mission in the developing world. These missions include work in medicine, pastoral care, and education.

 

VOICA's long-term mission sites include the following:

 

East Timor --- Teachers, Nurses, Doctors

 

Egypt --- Primary School Teachers, Refugee Assistance

 

Malawi --- Teachers

 

Togo --- Teachers, Doctors, Nurses

 

Tanzania --- Nurses, Doctors (esp. Surgeons), Pharmacists

 

Brazil --- Nurses, Animators

***Note: Brazil is a six month program due to visa requirements.***

 

In the future, we plan to expand the VOICA missions to include teaching and informal education in Sudan.
