Four Pillars of VOICA
						VOICA is founded on four pillars: Spirituality, Formation, Community, and Service. The order of these pillars is significant. Spirituality is the starting point, which affects all other aspects of service. Formation provides volunteers with the tools needed to adapt to the missionary lifestyle, to grow in their journeys, to live in community life, and to serve the needy. Community helps volunteers mature and gives them the support they need to serve to the best of their abilities. Service has the power to transform volunteers and to enrich their spirituality. These four pillars are threaded through the discernment, formation, and service phases of the program.
