“I wished I could be reduced to dust if, in that way, I could be scattered to all parts of the world so that God would be known and loved.”

--- St. Magdalene of Canossa

Then I heard the voice of the Lord, “Whom shall I send?” I answered, “Here I am, Lord. Send me!”
---Isaiah 6:8

Have you felt it? Have you felt the call to serve God through his people? Have you felt the urge to go into the world with His Love? Have you felt the desire to do more and be more?

As a VOICA Volunteer, you will spend a beautiful time of your life in service to others.

VOICA Volunteers are laypeople, either single or married, in good physical and mental health. The Volunteers have a strong desire to grow spiritually and to live a life of prayer and community while serving the poor in solidarity.

VOICA volunteers have come from all around the world, including Italy, Australia, the Philippines, Poland, Singapore, Slovakia, Ukraine, and the United States of America. The volunteers have ranged in age from 21 to 50 years old. They serve either long term (1-2 years) or short term (2-6 weeks) in the three areas of the Canossian charism: education, medical care, and pastoral care.
